Hope this finds you in good health and vibes! Ladies and Gentlemen I'm glad to say it’s here! The tag-team mixtape with myself and Krome (R2S) is done and ready for you.

This mixtape is one for core hip hop lovers. No gimmicks, just 16 tracks of music, words and thoughts that in one way or another, everyone can identify with. Feel good songs, emotional songs and so much more - this promises to be a gem for those who truly appreciate the art of hip hop.

We kept this mixtape all West London too. All featured artists and producers are from the vicinity.  Featured artists on the tape are Seta Trend, Culprit Cash, TrixCity, Korshun, Fuzzie Barz and Zed. All producers are from West as well; not just artists. Bulg, WAR, Evo Advent Child and ShoXstar, all crafted some gems for the tape!!

I also get in on the production act on there as well - you knew I would!

We decided on April 4th as the release date a few months ago, not too long after we thought of the idea of this tag-team mixtape because it’s Krome’s birthday! Pretty cool birthday present having a new mixtape released (Happy Birthday again, Bro!) So it made perfect sense! We've both had to put in some extra studio shifts over the past few weeks to get everything ready in time. It's what we love doing, so it’s never a problem.

LATEST PRESS: #FindOutFriday in the #ESPspotlight with EricaSharlette

Hey LekFans!

Hope you're all good! As you'll probably know by now Lekhem released 'KrateDiggin', his 15-track, Instrumental follow up to 'The Raise EP' on Monday, 5th March.

In the lead up, he sat down with me - the 'ES in the P', for a special insight into Lekhem 'The Producer'; the legendary influence that inspired all of that talent and where he plans to take it all next...

If you haven't already, please do take the time to have a read and get to know this hugely talented Musician that bit better.

As this genuinely was two friends having a chat under the guise of an interview, I had far too much content to include in the 10 Q&A piece. Being my blog, it means I get to break from the norm when I feel like it, so expect a one-off follow up to appear here exclusively, in the next few days. 

Lekhem may not be L'oreal, but when it comes to talking Music...anything? Believe me, he's worth it!

KrateDiggin!

Hey guys and girls!

I'm back, fresh from a crazy day with my ESP Family at the Hyper Japan expo at Earls Court! Shoutout to Charli-Anne and EricaSharlette for bringing me down. The event was Anime/Gamer's Heaven, so you could say that today had been grrrreat!


But to work now, and the reason for today's post. I want to announce the release date for my new project! 'KrateDiggin', - 15 tracks of instrumentals all produced by me, will be released right here, on March 5th!

My original studio spot was always behind the mixing board and not the microphone. This always has been and always will be, a very big passion of mine. Being around musicians all my life helped to inspire that part of me.

'Crate-digging' is a term that's used in Hip Hop, where Producers would literally dig in crates of vinyl records, searching for samples to help create their music. With the instrumentals that I've created, I wanted to stick with the 'sample-beat' sound. That is what gave me the idea for KrateDiggin. I've used very familiar and very unfamiliar samples to create a varied, complete collection.

A Whole Lotta Love This February...

Hey everybody!

The month of February has been a very busy one indeed.

As you know, the latest Unsigned Hype UK mixtape (Valentine's Edition) was realised on the 1st, and my track 'Thoughts Of Her' is on there. Proud to say it's the opening song as well! (Shout out to all at Unsigned Hype UK; always grateful for the support). The song is also an original composition, all produced by myself.

Since we're talking about that, not everyone is fully aware yet that I am a Producer / Musician, as well as a Vocalist. Stay tuned as I have a lot more coming on that front. Some very exciting news is on the way guys!!

My good friend and R2S squad member Korshun also released 'Valenrhymes' this week. I feature on his Valentine's Day mixtape special along with Culprit Cash, Krome and Prophyle. I am on 'Dance With Me' with Korshun and also have a solo song 'Day Dreaming' produced by Evo AC!
